"To prepare for Ryerson University’s Acting interview last year. I deputed Elitestar Consulting to help my son find an excellent instructor to mentor him. Luckily, we can have Ms. Polly Miller as an instructor.

It was a snowy winter day. The cold weather cannot freeze our fiery passion for learning. When we arrive at Polly ‘s studio, we were attracted by the artistic sense that surrounds her. Her greeting, her smile is as bright and brilliant as the sunshine which really warms our heart.

On the same day, Polly showed us around the studio. She customized a specific schedule for my son’s acting class.

Polly is very warm-hearted and responsible, she is undoubtedly, a real artist! Since the beginning, Polly uses her professionalism to help my son select proper performance pieces. Choosing the performance is the most essential step of a successful acting.

To help students better understand and visualize the characters, Polly will draw the story plots, and one by one explain the relationship to the students. This way, the student can really understand the meaning behind lines and the relationship between characters. Then the student can accurately use their voice and performance to express the internal emotion of a character.

Polly is very strict about reading lines. She inspired the student to speak with the character ‘s voice and rhythm because is essential for student to understand the script. She will demonstrate the most fascinating reading to her student and lets them experience how the lines can become alive and charming.

I have to say, Polly cares about her student, she always encourages them, help them to build confidence. I can tell by her training methods; kids are feeling more confident and becoming more mature.

Even for parents, Polly will share her own parenting experiences. Which is to use love to accompany the child, never stop the encouragement and compliment.

This February, my son attended his interview and was admitted by Ryerson University’s Performance: Acting program. The day at the interview, Polly accompanied my son to the examination room. She said: “My accompany is to give you confidence and courage, you will succeed!” And I think, the confidence and courage enlightened by Polly will stay with my son continually, because those are the light that will indefinitely illuminate his path to art".
